What to expect
First appointment
During your first appointment, I'll take the time to discuss your symptoms and carry out a physical examination. Before your appointment, you'll complete an intake form so I already have some information about your symptoms and medical history.
During the examination, I'll look at your spine, your posture and any imbalances or misalignments. Afterwards, I'll explain what I've found and whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your symptoms. If it is, we can usually start treatment straight away.
Follow-up appointments
Follow-up appointments are shorter. I'll check how you've responded to the previous treatment and continue your treatment based on what I find at that appointment.
What does a treatment plan usually look like?
How often you come in depends on your symptoms and how your body responds. If you've had your symptoms for longer, you may need several treatments.
At first, appointments are usually scheduled a little closer together. As things improve, we gradually reduce the frequency.
You'll often notice the first changes within a few treatments. If you're not making enough progress, I'll discuss the most appropriate next step with you.

Payment is made directly after the appointment by debit or credit card in the practice.
After each appointment, an invoice is sent by email which can be submitted to your health insurance.
Insurance coverage
Chiropractic care in the Netherlands falls under supplementary health insurance (alternative medicine).
No referral is required and it does not count towards your deductible.
It is advisable to check the exact reimbursement with your health insurance provider in advance.

The practice is located on the ground floor and is accessible without stairs.
Rescheduling or cancelling
Appointments can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance.
After that, the reserved time will be charged.
